Solidiam N.V. is a multidisciplinary real estate company. Solidiam N.V. is responsible for processing the personal data of website visitors, prospective clients, buyers, tenants, and suppliers. We believe it is important that you know what we do with your personal data and what your rights are, so that you can trust that your information is in safe hands with us.

Whose Personal Data Do We Process and Why?

We process data from various groups (website visitors, prospective clients, buyers, tenants, and suppliers) and for various purposes. Data is only shared with contracted third parties where necessary, unless we are legally required to do so, for example through a court order or judgment.

  • For website visitors, we use cookies to record how the website is used. We do this to improve the website and adapt our product offerings. You may block the placement of cookies yourself if you object to them (see Website Visitors).

  • If you are a prospective client and request information through the website, we store the information you provide in our CRM system. We process this information to inform you about products and services. If there is no further contact, we will delete your information after 2 years.

  • If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you may unsubscribe through any newsletter you receive.

  • If you wish to rent or purchase a home, office, or other type of real estate, your data is required. Your information is processed for preliminary investigations and contractual purposes. Without your personal data, we cannot enter into a rental or purchase agreement with you. If there is no further contact, we will delete your information after 2 years.

  • If you become a buyer, tenant, or supplier, we expand the data collected with information necessary for contractual and administrative obligations. We retain this information for at least 7 years in accordance with tax retention requirements.

Website Visitors

The website www.solidiam.com uses functional cookies and analytical cookies. The analytical cookies are provided by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and have been configured in a privacy-friendly manner (see also the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority). Due to the way we use Google Analytics 4, we are not required to obtain your consent. Therefore, you will not have encountered a cookie wall or cookie notification. In summary, our privacy-friendly configuration includes:

  • We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google;

  • We do not share data about the use of our website with Google for benchmarking or similar purposes;

  • Google Analytics 4 cookies are not used for other Google services;

  • We have chosen the option to anonymize visitors' IP addresses;

  • Google Analytics 4 cookie data is transmitted securely (encrypted).

Prospective Clients, Buyers, and Tenants

We receive personal information through the contact form on this website and through other channels. This may include your full name, address, email address, and telephone number. If you wish to rent a property, we may require information such as your date of birth, salary slips, bank statements, employer's declaration, a copy of your passport (without the citizen service number), and details of co-tenants. In addition, your payment information is necessary for automatic rent collection. Your contact details are also necessary for arranging maintenance and conducting tenant satisfaction surveys.

We store this information in our CRM system, contracts, and financial administration. The data is not shared with third parties except those engaged for rental, sales, maintenance, and administrative processing purposes.
For prospective clients, we apply a retention period of 2 years after the last contact. For buyers and tenants, we comply with statutory tax retention obligations. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and relevant.

Suppliers

Are you a business partner, such as a contractor, supplier of materials, real estate agent, appraiser, or debt collection agency? In that case, we process your personal data to cooperate with you and maintain contact. We store this information in our CRM system, contracts, and financial administration. The data is not shared with third parties except those engaged for administrative processing.

Which interactions do we record?
We record the agreements we make with you and use our interactions to improve our communication. The interactions we record include:

  • Letters and emails we send and receive;

  • Telephone conversations and chats;

  • Your activities and browsing behavior on our website;

  • Our interactions via social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

With whom do we share your data?
Sometimes we provide your information to other parties and sometimes we verify information with other companies. We do not share your data without a valid reason. We may exchange data with:

  • Property managers or real estate agents who assist us with managing our real estate portfolio;

Our employees have received clear instructions on how to handle your information. In addition, we make clear agreements with companies that process personal data on our behalf and according to our instructions through data processing agreements. We exercise extra caution with sensitive data. Sensitive data includes, among other things, your citizen service number (BSN) and financial and banking information.
